The Paper Plane is a craft bar on wheels - a lovingly designed speakeasy inspired bar encased within a 1994 Oshkosh step van. With a physical bar built directly into the side of the truck, guests can belly up to the bar or find a seat in one of our vintage lounge options - elevating any event into a top-notch celebration. Gone are the days of ordering your drink and then shuffling away awkwardly; with The Paper Plane, your guests can intermingle in their own private Craft Cocktail Bar while creating unforgettable memories.

Our expert mixologist, Jose, meticulously curates each event menu, with options that range from unique takes on timeless classics to avant-garde molecular gastronomy. Our supplementary lounge service effortlessly converts any exterior location into an intimate speakeasy, featuring tasteful vintage furnishings, ambient overhead café lighting, and an array of seating options for your guests. The Paper Plane Lounge serves as an ideal complement to any event, with a sophisticated aesthetic that is sure to resonate with both your professional and amateur photographers.
Who we are
The Paper Plane is the brain-child of Mixologist Jose Pagan and Designer Katie Combs. The Covid-19 pandemic proved to be a turning point in their lives - prior to the pandemic, they pursued divergent careers in different locations, with Jose serving as an audio engineer in Orlando, and Katie working as an editorial designer in New York City. Like so many others, the global pandemic altered the trajectory of their lives - and by sheer coincidence, they found themselves employed at the same restaurant in Port Orange, Florida.
Unified in their creative aspirations, they conceived a revolutionary mobile craft bar, intent on elevating the concept of mobile bartending services and crafting lasting memories for our clients.
